Vision and Mission

To establish a programme that leads an organisation through a maturity development cycle to achieve and demonstrate excellence in information management and quality.

To provide leadership, support and common interest and industry-wide applicability through a value-add consulting service delivered in a partnership and membership format.


Information Fitness Methodology

A framework and methodology encompassing 3 prime streams of activity:

  • Strategy, policy, governance
  • Architecture and tools
  • Value analysis and project value initiatives

Intended to guide an organisation through a maturity improvement in order to demonstrate internally and externally that information is being managed to maximise company value, minimise operational overhead and reduce exposure to risk.


IF™ Gymnasium

A secure data centre set up with a variety of data analysis, modelling and profiling tools that can be used by our practitioners to analyse subsets of data and to provide feedback and recommendations.

The data centre is a secure environment in which company data can be transferred to via secure network and held in an area private to the organisation. A variety of third party tools for managing and interpreting data and data quality are made available at no further costs to the organisation for the purposes of analysis and interpretation.

Basic

The basic service is offered to organisations that wish to partake in the IF™ programme and to benefit form consulting support and access to materials, but do not feel they need to commit to a fully supported maturity development programme.


Benefits:

  1. Access to IF™ methodology and materials
  2. Unlimited access to consulting resources via email or telephone support
  3. Access to the IF™ programme website and forum
  4. Invitation to attend all IF™ programme workshops and tutorials
  5. Ad-hoc access to the IF™ Data Gymnasium for analysis and profiling of subsets of data and reports to highlight areas of concern.
  6. 2 meetings on-site to give consulting support from 2 experienced consultants per month including report from meeting with any issues and recommendations identified.
  7. Corporate Membership of the IAIDQ for up to 3 company practitioners.
  8. Participation in a maturity index of Information Management across industries.
  9. Attendance at an annual progress and award ceremony.
